Municipal Court

The Town of De Beque conducts a municipal court for the benefit of the citizens of De Beque. The Court handles most matters associated with violations of the municipal code including the uniform traffic code.

Questions regarding the municipal court should be directed to the Town Clerk.

De Beque Municipal Court is held the first Thursday of every month at 2:00 p.m. Court is live-streamed during docket times and may be viewed online.

Municipal Court is held on the first Thursday of each month beginning at 2:00 pm, excluding holidays.

If you received a Summons requiring you to appear in Court, you must appear on the date on the Summons.

If you were served a Citation and you have decided to go to Court instead of paying the fine, you must appear in Court on the date on your Citation.

If you cannot appear in Court on the date on your Citation, please contact us at (970) 283-5475. Failure to appear could result in a warrant being issued for your arrest and/or your driving privileges being revoked.

If you have been served a citation and the citation indicates that you may mail in the fine, you may make payment by:

Money Order or Check

  • Payable to the Town of De Beque
  • Mail your citation and payment to: Town of De Beque, PO Box 60, De Beque, CO 81630

Credit Card

  • Credit card payments can be made by phone at (970)283-5475, in person at Town Hall, or online.
  • An administrative fee will be charged on all credit card transactions.

Call us at (970) 283-5475 as soon as possible. Failure to appear could result in a warrant being issued for your arrest and/or your driving privileges being revoked.
